So I got a DD yesterday. Didn't see it until today. Thanks to all that made comments and fav+'s... DragonWinter: Thanks for submitting my fractal for a DD. You have been one of the few people who consistently give support to my work (and I feel bad that I don't really reciprocate). It's a pleasure to know you as well as others enjoy what I do.
Particle Accelerator by *phudak78 is just plain fun and exciting. I love the shapes, the composition, and the overall effect. It's just like, ZAP! (

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful fractal images I have seen in quite a while.
The conceptual use of the particle accelerator itself was enough to attract my attention. The focus on the intricate details in the walls is magnificent. Even the placement of the center is well established, and the curvature of the walls definitely add a sense of depth to the entire image.
Regarding the color, you have done a remarkable job in the texturing. The electric blue lines compliment your concept perfectly.
I only wish there were a few (fractal) particles too to further extend your original idea, but its not essential to the theme.
This picture is truly worthy of a Daily Deviation.
I'm surprised this hasn't received much more traffic for a DD! It's an incredible fractal.
I love the placement of the focal point, as well as the depth it creates. I'm really rather fond of the details on the"tunnel's walls" as well as the pinkish and blues trails flowing out or into the "center" of the flame.
The only thing that I'm not so big on is the two borders that you placed on the image itself, but that's just my own personal opinion...it doesn't actually detract from the fractal itself.
Anyway! It's one of my favorite fractals that have received a DD!
The color is great, When I first saw it I thought it looked like a cathedral cieling. If you think about it, maybe it is a cathedral dedicated to discovery...
